General Duties:
Directly responsible for equipment management, including asset management, validation and maintenance, within the scope of the Operational Compliance department. Will assist users with documentation and related equipment activities within the organization. Will provide assistance, as needed, for validation functions of the Operational Compliance department relating to equipment, facilities and processes. Requires interaction with the Validation Support Specialist and other regional personnel throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- One to three years’ equipment experience with equipment in a regulated environment (blood center, laboratory or, manufacturing environment) required.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Good analytical, problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail required.
- Knowledge of basic principals of federal regulatory and/ or quality assurance practices.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of staff through out the region.
- Must protect the confidentiality of sensitive/ proprietary information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word required, exposure to Excel and Access desired.
