DONOR RECRUITMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description
Plans and implements effective strategies to recruit and retain donor groups to sponsor bloodmobile or fixed site collection operations sufficient to achieve established blood collection goals and strategies to ensure sufficient numbers of specialized donors (apheresis, bone marrow, plasma, stem cell, etc.) to meet program needs. Develops potential group leads, trains and provides ongoing support to donor groups, implements appropriate special donor recruitment programs, and provides follow-up record keeping and recognition

Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing/sales, communications or related field such as Public Relations or Event Planning. Requires one (1) to three (3) years of related experience with direct sales. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a variety of audiences. Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Current valid driver’s license is required.

Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated experience and implementation of group dynamics, point of purchase/customer maintenance sales techniques and negotiation skills. Three (3) plus years of direct customer sales experience with a combination of inside and outside sales with a focus on customer development is desired. Demonstrated public speaking experience. Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, goal orientated environment. Demonstrated experience with client development in the Hanover/Lebanon, NH area is desired.
